At Solaer, we see investment in the community as an important and central part of our business activities.

As an influential and leading renewable energy company, we have chosen to focus our activities on youth with special needs in Israel, who want to enlist in the army and contribute to the country, all while cooperating with the school and the army and in fact lead to the promotion of equal opportunities for those youth.

 

The Solaer company adopts a unit in the program and finances the many expenses involved in integrating a new group of young people with special needs into the IDF.

 

The Solaer company adopts and participates in the "Gdolim on uniform" program.

The "Big Boys in Uniform" program was founded about a decade ago with the aim of integrating boys with disabilities into the IDF and thereby bringing them to Israeli society.

where the main goal is to eventually integrate them into civilian employment so that they can live as independent a life as possible.

 

During the program, the boys get an equal opportunity to experience productive work, when everything is done within the framework of the army - which is for them a protected home that accepts them as they are.

It has been proven that service in the IDF miraculously improves their social skills, provides basic life skills, and instills in them faith in their abilities.
